The Good Old Days: Racist Archie Bunker Compilation

Archie was a realist...not a racist.

That show was produced by a bunch of commies!

What was good about it?

There were many, many things good about those days. Were they perfect? No. But there was a lot that we would do well to bring back. Common sense, for one. Look at some of the staples of the left today: biological men competing in women’s sports, 25 “genders”, socialism considered a good thing, “antifa” spouting fascist ideals and violence and using a name that purports to be against fascism, a year of riots with murder and arson and looting were “mostly peaceful”, draconian lockdowns for a virus with a 0.25% mortality rate, and the list goes on.

Of course it started with the left taking over schools and everyone gets a trophy and not keeping score in kids sports and other such related nonsense, but don’t get me started.

Yes those times weren’t perfect but they had a lot of things commonly understood that we have lost in the last 50 years.

I used to love All In The Family until I realized it was a giant Psy-Op to get the normal, conmen sense type people to change their views to liberal. They did it to Archie over many many years, and slowly the men who identified with Archie started changing their views too. Archie was a wolf in sheeps clothing.

Single-handedly, one of the most profoundly real and authentic sitcoms in all of history. It is a shame that we have gone backwards and adopted a spirit of offense and divisiveness toward one another. This show would be cancelled if it were ever aired today!

I LOVED Archie. There were times he reminded me of my father.

They should put it back on the air. After all, it was all about lefties laughing at Archie and his opinions and values.

True, and they were trying to make fun of regular Americans and “racists” but the people loved the show because they agreed with Archie. Archie’s supposedly racist outbursts were loved because it’s what regular Americans weren’t allowed to say on TV because they had no representation in the media.

It was an attack on the returning WWII and Korean War Vets who were trained to have a kill (insert group) here.

Rob Reiner is still a freeking annoying liberal who doesn't get the realism of the world and lives among fellow artists who are mostly drunks and abusers.

There were even classes on Archie in Colleges and Universities as an example of types.

Meanwhile the show also led to Domestic Violence and lowering of intelligence of American People.

“Till Death us do part” is a great show too. It’s where Norman Lear got the idea for All in the Family. It’s really sad to watch it because you will see just how far Britain has fallen in just 50 or so years.

Norman Lear was a liberal [...] and the Archie character was clearly intended to make white conservative men look obtuse and uneducated.

It did have its moments though. I liked the episode where George Jefferson skewers Archie for not welcoming a new neighbor, thinking the newcomer is black. Jefferson then changes his tune when he finds out he is Hispanic.

In another episode, Meathead gets passed over for a job, which is given to a black guy with less credentials. Affirmative action in action. If I remember correctly, Meathead is pissed. Lol

Lionel Jefferson was good at educating Archie with irony. Archie respected him for it.
