I suppose the idea is to keep control. The government is obviously laser-focused on that, calling intelligent freedom advocates terror threats. Why threats? Because they're competent. Thugs don't bother the government, they're easy to control and turn against the opponents of the government, as they've been doing basically forever. It's the intelligent middle class that has to be nailed down.

We've got a tyrannical government. I remember when Bill Clinton said somewhere early in his presidential term that maybe Americans have too much freedom. Not many took him seriously or knew what was maybe planned even then.
