Original Biblical Manuscripts TRUE... Almost All Bible Translations Corrupted...
I am beginning to think, people from the formation of the Catholic Church (and other denominations) to present have inserted bias into their translation process, some intentional, some not.

Why do I think so? Look at this:
...

Description

New Bible translation puts right the mistakes of centuries
The first pure translation into English of the actual words of the Apostles – not influenced by creeds, traditions or the preconceptions of the translators. The actual words – not what was thought that they meant. The culmination of over two decades of intense scholarship and in-depth research by an academic frustrated with the repeated inaccuracies of centuries.

“This translation unmasks historic twisting of the original Gospel message to support particular beliefs. It will be as controversial as John Wycliffe’s first translation into English which was declared illegal for anyone to read by the church which had him declared a heretic.”

The Bible for a long time has been the world’s number one selling book. Since the first English translation in 1380, more than 630 years ago, there have been around 150 English translations. So why do we need another one? Author, scholar, poet and grammar expert Christopher Sparkes from Petersfield, has spent twenty years painstakingly going back to the original Greek and Heebrew, and has identified “a thousand blunders” which have been repeatedly left uncorrected.

Over the centuries, as translators strived to make the language more “modern” and understandable, so many errors and mistranslations have occurred that many of the original meanings have been obscured, or even lost. The acid test, according to Sparkes, is that if you translate the English versions back to their original Greek or nope, they are too often nowhere near the original. So what has gone wrong?

The problem facing translators is that they already knew – or thought they knew – the stories and teachings they were translating, so when the original Greek or nope didn’t quite fit with them, they “fidgeted” the words to make them fit with what they believed. Words have been added, taken away or changed to fit with specific creeds or beliefs. As George Gershwin wrote, “The things that you’re liable to read in the Bible – it ain’t necessarily so!”

We have to look at these things as believers and realize the tare are among us, and religious, and part of academia, and are also translators.

John 3:16,17

King James Version

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

New King James Version

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.

New American Standard Bible

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him.

New International Version

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.

English Standard Version

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.

You need to understand that the KJV issue does not matter, nor is there any problem whatsoever because there are different "versions".

You need to understand this.

We have the original Greek and He**ew versions that were the words spoken and written.

Everything from that and then is translation between languages. There is no great mystery here. It is all well-known, and we have versions of every translation along the way.

You can easily compare all versions and translations today at your fingertips. There are no secrets or mysteries here and there need not be any confusion or uncertainty.

In fact, it is often best to occasionally reference the slightly different translations side-by-side to learn more about the verse or passage.

I started with the Living Bible when I was a kid. While not bad, it is the only one I would not recommend. Then I spent about 5 years in the New International Version. Then it was into the King James Version for 5 years of serious study. Soon thereafter, I got and went through the New American Standard, the New King James and the English Standard Version. My anchor Bible is my well-worn and highlighted KJV. My favorite is the NKJV. My most recent purchase is the Holman NKJV Compact UltraThin in a beautiful soft brown leather. Sweet little Bible.

What matters is a heart and mind being in the Word of God, not disputing over minor differences in wordings.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 66808653

KJV - When Jesus heard it, he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

NKJV - When Jesus heard it, He said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

NASB - And hearing this, Jesus *said to them, “It is not those who are healthy who need a physician, but those who are sick; I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

ESV - And when Jesus heard it, he said to them, “Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I came not to call the righteous, but sinners.”

NIV - On hearing this, Jesus said to them, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”

Is there a problem here?

Does anyone have any problem with anything here?

Anything? Anyone?

That's the same unfortunate conclusion I've come to after examining history and comparing translations/omissions. As Christians, we will need to accept that not every man or power that had a hand in bringing us the modern Bible was acting with pure intentions. After all, what poses the greatest threat to Satan's power on earth? The Word. The Bible would be Satan's biggest target for corruption. And remember, the devil prefers to influence and control his enemies, rather than destroy them outright. Look at the Knights Templar, various theological societies, the Roman Catholic Church, etc. The devil works from within to turn the elect against themselves.

John 3:16. Love that verse

Yes beautiful verse... But The King and The Catholic Church, have a reputation of not necessarily reflecting Jesus.

Maybe just religious people, and IF not born again, how can they accurately translate, since the bible is a spiritual book.

Plus they have so many word choices, (Greek, Aramaic, or nope to English)and so many doctrines to protect.

We'll know better when they finish compiling the hundreds of books found in the tunnels of the Vatican into 54 volumes of new Biblical teachings, said to reflect what Christ was really saying.
