The bottomline is THIS: we already got rid of that bar in our city and simple public outcry took care of it. So you see, we didn't have to resort to the kind of anarchy you'd prefer by burning it down. At one time there were eight homosexual bars here; today there are three, the other four closing due to COVID-19.

Now: wanna' hear a little irony? About 15 years ago the largest drag bar complex in my state nearly did burn to the ground, but it wasn't due to pitchforks and torches. It was owned/operated by a lesbian couple and in a rage one of them torched the place when she caught her lover in flagrante delecto. I still think of that as poetic justice!
