Quoting: DGN ANXIETY can be like a heavy weight on our heart. (Prov. 12:25) Have you experienced the crushing pressure of anxiety in your life? Do you ever feel that your emotions are at a breaking point? If so, you are not alone. Many of us may have become caregivers, lost a loved one in death, experienced a natural disaster, or faced some other situation that has drained us physically, mentally, and emotionally. But what can help us cope successfully with anxiety? * Panic disorder since I was a teen (before those sorts of diagnoses were fashionable and widespread). For me, there’s a heavily genetic component. I even have a historical ancestor from WW1 era who is noted to have not married/reproduced due to not wanting to pass in the condition. To lower anxiety/lessen incidence, I exercise, eat cleanly (no seed oils/processed foods), practice gentle yoga, do guided meditation, get proper sun during shoulder seasons and summer, drink chamomile tea with Reishi and Lion’s Mane organic mushrooms, and travel and read when I can (the pdf two are simply personal interests I enjoy). The truth is, all this is great, but I do still end up taking Xanax (prescribed) at least a couple of times a week, in fairly tiny doses. All this about benzos being highly addicting is bollocks. The idea is spread by big pharma so people will buy nongeneric (expensive) medication that doesn’t work. As long as depression isn’t present, and the person is educated about safe practices for use, it’s an absolutely essential medication. I couldn’t have functioned as an attorney without it, and no doctor has ever second guessed the prescription (doctors know my history/resting heart rate, etc.) |

Consider, for example, a situation that arose while he was on the run from murderous King Saul. When David and his men returned from a military campaign, they were shocked to find that enemies had stolen their possessions, burned down their homes, and taken their families captive. How did David react? “David and the men with him began weeping loudly until they had no strength left to weep.” Adding to David’s distress, his trusted men were “talking of stoning him.” (1 Sam. 30:1-6) David now faced three major problems all at once: His family was in danger, he was afraid that his men would kill him, and King Saul was still chasing him. Imagine the anxiety David must have felt! |

Cold room, soft sounds of nature and reassuring inner dialogue. Know that we dont have fear so a spirit of fear is visiting you and you need to get rid of it as soon as you can breath again. Also watch every single thing you put in or on your body. Get rid of all witchcraft meant to intimidate, manipulate or dominate you. Dramamine for stomach upset and Benadryl for sleep. Lavender works well too and is edible. |

Imagine the anxiety David must have felt! David sang He was a psalmist a songist ....haha this one has been blessed with the gift of singing since an nde nearly fatal accident. 20 years later, I have written 500+ songs. 'YHWH inhabits the praises of His people' this one had a 'saul' experience: running from a husband trying to kill me, escaping hellyweird, kidnapping one child, trying to kidnap my second born, contract out on my life. I just kept singing...for a while, under an assumed name so no one could find me. I am so grateful for this gift. But even if you just hum a tune - the Creator knows your heart and the angels will smile. And you will feel better -at least for a while. Heaven is full of song and music and creativity. Start singing now if you don't, because when you get to heaven you will be singing. Inexpressible joy and gratitude and perfect love does that to a person. They sing or smile...you know.... David mourned his son, Absalom, tore his clothes and anguished. Then, he got up and danced and sang before YAH to the wonder of all around him. His wife hated it. G-d loves it. Sing. |

He immediately “strengthened himself by Jehovah his God.” How may David have done this? David’s pattern was to pray to Jehovah for help and to reflect on how He had helped him in the past. (1 Sam. 17:37; Ps. 18:2, 6) David saw the need to seek Jehovah’s direction, so he inquired of Jehovah as to what he should do. After David received Jehovah’s direction, he acted immediately. Likewise, the MSM has been corrupted, in an ever increasing magnitude, since the 1970s. However, having said that I have managed to live the "American Dream" and continue to do so. None the less, I am planning on making some drastic changes because of the crumbling situation--going from rural to somewhat isolated. |

A brother prays for his sick wife, who lies in a hospital bed. 2. Reflect. The brother remembers when he was in the hospital and another brother shared a scripture with him. 3. Act. The brother sits with his sick wife and shares a scripture with her. 1. Pray. Anytime we begin to feel anxiety, we can pray to Jehovah for help and wisdom. We can unburden ourselves by lingering in prayer and pouring out our heart to him. Or we can say a brief, silent prayer if that is all our circumstances will allow at the moment. Every time we look to Jehovah for help, we echo David’s confidence: “Jehovah is my crag and my stronghold and the One who rescues me. My God is my rock, in whom I take refuge.” (Ps. 18:2) Does prayer really work? A pioneer sister named Kahlia says: “After praying, I feel at peace. Prayer helps me to align my thinking with Jehovah’s thinking, and my trust in him is heightened.” Indeed, prayer is a powerful provision from Jehovah that helps us cope with anxiety. |

As you look back on your life, can you think of trials that you were able to endure only because of Jehovah’s help? When we reflect on how Jehovah has sustained us as well as his servants in the past, we gain inner strength and greater confidence in him. (Ps. 18:17-19) “I have a list of answered prayers,” says an elder named Joshua. “This has helped me to remember the times I asked Jehovah for something specific and he gave me just what I needed.” Yes, when we ponder over what Jehovah has already done for us, we gain renewed strength to combat anxiety. |
