The CDC report that for the "Under 20" category, there were a grand total of 3337 Homicides from all causes, with 2801 deaths firearm related.

So, in that one year, they are reporting more firearm related homicides than there were TOTAL homicides.

the Numbers for 2019 are similar. There aren't any hard numbers from the DOJ for 2021 & 2022, but a survey of 6 individual states data for 2021 show the same trend; a very slight increase over the REAL 2020 numbers.... and potentially, a slight decrease in "Assault Rifle" numbers.
