Walmart flashes a warning sign to the entire consumer economy
It's Bloomberg, so it's basically Chinese propaganda. But what isn't these days?

From Bloomberg:

"The world’s biggest retailer on Tuesday reported profit that fell short of Wall Street expectations and downgraded its outlook for full-year earnings per share from a mid-single digit increase to a 1% decline. Chief Executive Officer Doug McMillon said the bottom-line results were “unexpected” and reflecte the “unusual” environment. Walmart shares tumbled more than 11% on Tuesday, the most in 35 years."

.
“unexpected” because the CEO is completely out of touch with reality while he sits comfortably in his luxurious home, completely divorced from what is going on in the lives of the very people his corporation serves.

“Mental slavery is the worst form of slavery.
It gives you the illusion of freedom,
makes you trust, love, and defend your oppressor,
while making an enemy of those
who are trying to free you or open your eyes.”
-Fiyah

“None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.”
-Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

“You have been programmed to resist the very person that is here to set you free, from the prison of your Mind... You are not free... everything you are has been manufactured by Minds that have not your best interest. You are imprisoned by beliefs and not reality. Religions are mental programs to imprison your Mind.”

New rule: CEO's and politicians can't make more than the average income for their company or state.

That's because Walmart completely sucks now. At least around here they've got half the store behind glass cases now and when you push the button for service nobody ever shows up. Then you get to check out your own groceries while being hawkeyed like a criminal by loss prevention just so they can "ask" to check your receipt at exit. F that.

Politicians should be made to work labor-intense jobs in order to keep their seats. Things like McDonald's and maybe driving a bus, where skill is applicable, of course. Keeps them connected to the people they are supposed to serve, and right where they SHOULD BE when they get too uppity.

You probably don't remember the Enron fiasco, but after that, corporate officers were held to higher financial responsibility for their companies.

Therefor, no-one will take the job unless they get outrageous pay.

This CRAP needs to change

Well, at this point, I'm now shopping for clothes at thrift shops. Seriously. You can find a lot of good stuff there, and it's a hell of a lot cheaper than Wal Mart.
