Re: "The Demand For Random Crap Suddenly Vanished, Taking Everyone By Surprise"
"To end, I’d like to emphasize that the vibes are abruptly off and no one really knows what’s happening. My colleagues who went to the Gartner supply chain conference in Florida this week found that executives were confused and not feeling very zesty. Transportation managers canceled orders in early 2020 predicting a recession, then found their hastiness left shelves empty and consumers furious. Now that they’ve built back up, customers aren’t buying anymore and their balance sheets are destroyed.

The whiplash is baffling."

When Obama killed the economy back in 2008 I lost all my favorite stores, Radio Shack, Circuit City, G.I. Joes, etc.

It seems Obama's minion is about to do the same.

I'm sure Best Buy is going to go, and then Target, and all the sporting goods stores I like.

It's going to be even worse this time.

To be clear, COVID fucking slayed our world economy, money from the government patched it, when that ran out people used up their savings (data shows this) then at Christmas people started to use up their credit. Now credit lines are being maxed out. Next? Collapse, people will be selling anything they have to pay bills and eat. All the credit bills will become insubstantial beyond the fall. It's going to be a shitshow.

My local water company is turning it's shut off program back on in 5 days, it's been on hold since 2020 for covid. I think most of my town is getting it's water shut off this week... PNW town, no money left...

Poor families are fucked, our government is broken and the economy is about to detonate.

Wait... Let's be clear. The Governments slayed the world economy, Covid is a smokescreen operation out of control. Still just as fucked...direct your anger accordingly.

I see "help wanted" signs everywhere

people need to get off the "covid bucks" tit and GET A JOB

do it, or your replacements from south of the border will

kind of hard to buy things when you have no job and your "free" money is going away

I just checked the Zillow price on my house, and it went up $18,000 over the last 30 days.

It is slowing down, because it went up by $30,000 previously.

That tends to cut into peoples 'disposable income'....

That has always been the problem with the aristocracies; they are so rich and so insolated from the common citizen, they slowly drift off into fantasy land and go bat crap crazy. They don't ever wake up either until the peasants start toppling their ivory towers. The modern day aristocracies; political, corporate and entertainment, are no different.

That is a very good point and yet it is so obvious that one had to wonder does anyone have any brain cells left. They seem to be all preaching the same sermon ”duh, we don’t know what’s going on”.

The reality of the situation is 5 fold:

1) This is the price of globalization. Supply chains are complex, which become more so when trying to run the entire world’s supply chain from a single global perspective. This is a sneak peak to how the world will be in a one world government or organization perspective. One size fits all will be a clusterfuck. The more complicated things are the more they need to be broken down into manageable portions.

2) We haven’t had a free market or organic economy in a long time. When you have a fake economy, propped up, with winners and losers selected rather than letting the market decide which companies succeed and which industries prevail, it is impossible to predict the future economic direction or situation.

3) Fink had one thing right in his ”totalitarian government is good for industry” bullshit speech in that the market likes certainty. You can’t shutter businesses and whole industries because of a pandemic, especially with no rhyme or reason, and threaten it might happen again and expect an economy to be able to handle it without a blip. The massive uncertainty they created with their covid crap will take at least a decade to flesh out.

4) Forcing a world switch from a fossil fuel system of transportation to a worse fossil fuel system, that has no infrastructure, for no good reason at all other than it enriches and empowers a very select few is fucking stupid.

5) Due to ”equity” those in positions of responsibility are morons.

Nobody has any disposable income anymore to waste on stupid shit.

Maybe if they dramatically lower the rent, food, gas, electric and tax costs, then people can afford to buy dumb shit again.

People making less than $50 grand a year shouldn’t have to pay a cent of taxes.

New homes, keeping their value? You must have recently bought an inflated crackerbox mcmansion. You, along with other ninnies, paid a spiking price because the interest rate was just so fucking low and your slime realtor put the bidding hustle on your stupid ass. Well, dumbass, it only happens once or twice every twenty years. You were just certain you knew better.

Who the fuck can afford to buy random garbage items anymore when one tank of gas is double what it used to be? Not to mention grocery prices have skyrocketed.

I've cut back on almost everything. The only stuff I haven't completely stopped buying is anything I use to create items that sell on one of my income streams. People are more into kitschy homemade decor now more than ever, I guess because if they don't drive anymore they can look at pretty things.

Excellent points.

Especially number 4.
How in the hell do they expect people to switch from fossil fuels????
They are so far out of reality they think everyone can afford to buy an electric car?? WTF?
Especially right after we as a world are recovering from their pandemic BS policies!
And they are already talking about the next pandemic as if it is planned.
* cough Bill Gates

I hope everyone took my advise and bought shoes and extra clothing awhile ago. The prices are insane for clothing and shoes now.
Not to mention food.
We paid $30 for two chicken sandwiches and two milkshakes at chick-fil-a
the other day.
We can’t afford that!

They have damaged everyone’s health and the take over of our healthcare system is tragic.
We actually have Covid again at my house (caught it from our jabbed and boosted extended family member) and my mom really needs to go to the hospital but we don’t dare take her because..,you know..,they will probably kill her. I just can’t believe this is what it has come to!

One bad dentist problem and I’m going to be broke!
I remember the times of going to the dentist regularly.
Not anymore.

They are going to drive everyone to suicide.

No shit aye?

It costs me 5 bucks just to get out of the driveway in my Nissan Titan. Luckily I have a fuel efficient car and a motorcycle that gets around 60 a gallon. A loaf of bread that went for 1.98 in 2020 is now 3.69, and meat, forget it , I will either kill it myself or go without until I can. All them wild hogs are starting to look more and more tasty. A big ole boar tastes rancid but a piglet or a sow are pretty damned tasty. I can catch enough fish in a few hours to feed my family for a week, I am all set. I have a garden and a gun, I will survive.
