Why are you being such an ass? An N95 mask used properly will give some protection. Even a flimsy mask could help. Wearing it 8 hours a day was probably not a good idea. That goes back to being used properly. We did not know how bad this was going to be. Those in authority were over zealous. We saw vids of people dropping dead in China and what was going on there.

Why do you think there was no flu during the mask wearing? Oh, I know you have an answer for that but it is you opinion not fact.

How do you know the mask wearing and mandates didn't work or limit the spread and infection? They were worried about the virus getting in the air circulating systems like Legionella did.

It appears to me that the spread was worse in heavily populated areas.

The best way to stop the spread of anything is to stay at home if you are sick.

We do not know what would have happened if masks and mandates had not been put in place. Remember, it was done under the Trump administration. We do know the hurt and damage that was done because of them.

Covid was lethal for the elderly and weak.

I will agree there were some egregious wrongs in the treatment and the one size fits all medical policies. It is tragic that edcucated doctors had no say. It is tragic that early treatments shown to work were not attempted and were banned. It is tragic that Medicare policies were based on flawed science or were motivated by profits. That is what needs to be learned.

If people want to wear a mask, that is their right just as it is your right not to mask.
