We know the dragon is satan without question:

Revelation 12:9

“And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.”

In order to find out who the beasts are in revelation, we need to read Daniel 2 and 7.

The beasts are kingdoms/kings. The time of Daniels prophecies were around 600bc and sooner, so for example when they say "three inferior kingdoms will arise" after Nebucadnezzars Babylon, we can easily find out they are:

1. Beast, kingdom of gold-Babylon Nebuchadnezzar
2. Beast, iron, Persia/Media, Cyrus conquered babylon, followed by Cambyses, Smerdis, Darius, Xerxes, etc
3. Beast, Greece, brass, Alexander is the great King, his empire was divided into
four after his death, hence leopard creature with 4 wings
4. Beast, Roman empire,iron mixed with clay. The kings of the old roman empire still rule, the 10 horns, who will give their power and kingdoms to the antichrist.


That being considered, in Rev 13 the beast with 10 horns and 7 heads is the roman empire. The roman empire has destroyed the saints for centuries, the pope speaks in blasphemies against the Most High,.

Later in revelation 13, another beast comes who has 2 horns like a lamb, but spake like a dragon. I think that is the end day antichrist that will come out of the roman empire (Windsor good guess). Notice "like a lamb", almost like saying people will take him for "The Lamb" but he spake like a dragon, hence he is an antichrist many will think he is the Christ.

Read daniel in its full KJV if you want to understand revelation.

The catholic church will fall in the end days when her 42 months=1260 prophetic years expire.

The 10 kings will hate the harlot and destroy her when the world religion under the antichrist is unveiled:
