Who were the ultimate preppers living off the grid? -Well pretty much any civilization before 1900s. You'd think they were prepared for EVERYTHING.

I'm beginning to think, we just MAY be thinking about prepping and off-the-grid living with a bit too romantic and rosy manner.

1. We know that the MAJOR cataclysm hits the earth roughly every 12'000 years.

2. And then a pretty hard one hits like every 6'000 years (half cycle), like Noah's flood.

3. Then a smaller cataclysm hits every 3'000 years, which is also somewhat severe.

4. The small 1/8th cycle hits every 1500 years. The last one started actually in the year 536 - exactly 1487 years ago. Which puts the next one pretty close to 2036.

The exact TSHTF date was 24 March, 536, when the sun suddenly went dim AF - and stayed that way until 24 June 537 (18 months).


During this "small" cyclical disaster, which caused a chain of shitty events, an estimated half of the European population died, and in China as much as 80% of their population may have died. As the crops failed globally for at least 2 years running, people had to go for cannibalism. So probably most of us have that in our bloodline when we go back far enough.


No matter if you're prepared or not, but just THINK about this. Global crop failure for one or more years. People starving to death, malnourished people dying from diseases by the millions. In a world like THAT, is it realistic to think that ANY amount of food, guns and ammo will keep you safe???


Just something to think about - this is the only cyclical SHTF account that we have in written history - at least on a global scale.
