It isn't the Bible Christians worship, but God who gave us the Bible, some of it is a historical record, some spiritually inspired writing, some allegorical, it is not a simple book, but it does guarantee to lead us to God and to Heaven when we die.

Can Christianity exist without the Bible? That's not a trick question. I don't get it.  I don't think it could, but we also have an oral tradition, that began before anyone wrote anything.
