Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80597384 I agree, a lot more ghetto filth could have been cleansed with all that wasted ammo. He fired his weapon. I'm not understanding (other than purposeful ignorance) why people are ignoring this fact. Where did the extra 30 shots that didn't hit him go? In your opinion, do you think that puts the public at risk? Also, at this point I'm always skeptical of police claims. They lie constantly. It's always "he reached for his waistband" and then all they can find on the person is a cell phone. He was in the middle of a field. They weren't shooting up into the air. Don't be a retard. So, the bullets magically stop at the end of the field, or keep going until they hit something? Looks like he's in a residential area. Stop dodging the question. Did the extra 30 rounds that missed put the public at risk or not? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 83385706 07/03/2022 04:28 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If I were a door dash driver in Akron I would carry a gun, too. More like "Door Smash & Drive away" No one wears a ski mask during the summer unless they are up to shady shit. I GUARANTEE that it comes out that he was robbing houses. I bet it comes out he had expired registration or insurance and didn't want to go down for concealed carry so he put the mask on and ran. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 83762320 United States 07/03/2022 04:30 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | She’ll “casings.” Does this mean he made multiple shots at police? I’m curious whether it would change anyone’s opinion on what happened if suspect may have fired multiple times vs once? I’m in Akron presently, just a few miles from everything. I want everyone to imagine back to the times you’ve been pulled over by police. I’ve been pulled over at least a dozen times throughout my life, in Akron, and at no time has my thought process ever been to pull my gun out and start shooting at them. Once I ignored the sirens and tried to just keep going a little bit, (they were not happy about that.) I think we need to blame the mayor for stoking the fires and not supporting the process of investigation. He took money from Soros. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 83385706 07/03/2022 04:31 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I don't see any gun or shooting by the suspect in this video. Does anyone have a timestamp? Where are the cops federally mandated dashcam videos where he allegedly shot at them while driving away? Federally Mandated means the States Governor decides. Akron doesn't use them. Police Chief said that in the Press conference. Federal law precedes state law and state laws can only be more specific, not less. This isn't an administrative mandate, it's actual law passed by Congress decades ago. |

I haven't seen a single shred of evidence that he fired at police in the first place. Forensic investigations usually take weeks so they must have matched up the casings to his gun in record time. I'm skeptical, but if it can be proven he actually fired then I would agree the shooting was justified although 8 officers shooting is incredibly excessive. |

It doesn't show the suspect shooting nor does he have a gun. Those Axon cameras are 4K. There were 10 cops and 8 cars. That's 18 cameras that should have been rolling in hot pursuit, yet not one video of the suspect shooting or holding a gun. |
