What is the most bizarre experience you've had in public?
For me, it was using the San Francisco subway about 4 years ago. In the station, there were needles all over the place and aggressive heroin addicts would yell at me and try to get in my face while I was trying to buy a ticket. I saw a couple of people shouting at them to leave them the fuck alone. I walked down a hallway and there was this small Asian lady yelling at the heroin addicts who were laying around/passed out "Do you monkeys want bananas? You give black people a bad name." I remember her using the N word a couple of times too. It was both scary and strange.

When I was in college, several evangelicals approached me between classes, wanting to talk to me about Jesus. They weren't annoying or pushy at all.. as they continued speaking, I started shaking uncontrollably.. I took off

That was 30 years ago and it stays with me

Why were you arrested? Your junk was covered up, so it shouldn't have been indecent exposure.

I was riding up on the escalator in the Seoul subway when the power went out. I was stuck on that damn thing for two hours. When the power came back on, I was startled by the sudden restart and lost my balance. As I fell, I began to tumble. I fell down the stairs for an hour. You know that sound a dial-up computer makes when it connects? I heard that sound for an hour.

Not bizarre, per se, but miraculous... it's the opening post of this thread: Thread: Have you ever witnessed a Miracle? I have, more than once. Post it here, if so. I'll start...

I was late for the infamous Who Concert in Cincinnati. We got up to the Coliseum's plaza level and we heard music so we hurried in.

As we entered through the gate I looked to my right and saw this row of people covered with blankets and I said to my friend..."look those people must have OD'd or something".

But the band had started so we rushed inside.

It wasn't until we left and got in the car and put on the radio that we realized we had seen the dead bodies.

I was in Chicago as a kid 18 years old, just got out of a government program for bad kids, I was visiting friends I made while I was in and down the block a dude got stabbed in the eye with a chicken bone and it killed him, the sound he made when he screamed still resonates within my head today.
I looked and there before me was a pale horse! Its rider was named Death, and Hades was following close behind him.

I was in a checkout line at a grocery store and I saw a woman with an amazing ass. This was before implants were common.

Oddly, her husband was next to her and

the same ass.

Then, their child and ...

the same!

I am looking around for cameras at this point, figuring it was some kind of joke.

Then I looked across the street and it all became clear.

Across the street was a fairground and large indoor auditorium.

They were an acrobat family.

Guy in a suit came into the place I worked and my alarm bells started going off and I grabbed a iron bar we kept under the desk.

That guy scared the hell out of me and he didn't say anything or act aggressively at all. If he had I would have caved his head in, I was that discombobulated. He must have noticed I was only working with one hand though.

He left and nothing like that has ever happened again. He creeped me the hell out.

Re: What is the most bizarre experience you've had in public?
A year ago. I was in a large lake park with picnic tables and benches. I was sitting at a picnic table when I heard a strange sound, like a bird. I thought it was a bird in a tree. But then it made a different sound, like a dog or puppy yelping. It was like a single yelp from a dog.

It would randomly make the noise about every one minute or so. Either a bird noise, or a dog noise, randomly alternating between the two. My instincts told me it was a human. My first thought was someone is trying to fuck with me.

Turns out it, there was an older woman (50s or 60s), and a younger guy (20s or 30s), sitting on a bench, facing where I was sitting, about 100 feet away from me. I had seem them walking towards the bench a few minutes earlier.

It took a few minutes of observing and then I saw it. The young guy made the noise. I was watching them from the corner of my eyes, so it didn't look like I was staring. Randomly every minute or so he would make the noise. It looked like it was something he couldn't control. It looked and sounded really crazy. Eventually they got up and walked away, and I heard the bird and puppy noises continue as they walked away in the distance.

So fucking bizarre. I searched online, and think he might have some kind of Tourette's syndrome. Probably with his mother who is stuck caring for him his whole life.

attending Richard Nixon's campaign speech at the Anaheim Convention Center in California, October 1968. Since then, I've attended a couple such gatherings by religious charlatans, met freaks and losers in the streets, hitchiked around America, and seen noteworthy things. But Nixon was the creepiest, most unnerving and diabolical thing I have ever seen in public.

Re: What is the most bizarre experience you've had in public?
I don't normally share this, very few know and it's something I'll never forget as long as I live.

It was night, St Patrick's Day 1992 at The Old Shillelagh in Detroit. I was just home from the Army, in a great deal of pain and still needing to use a walker due to my injuries, but I decided to go with my buds for a cpl hours.

I was walking into the beer tent outside the pub, had to watch my feet a lot bc I had just learned to walk again, I happened to look up and there was this group of people walking towards me, all of them looking me in the eyes and smiling. There was nine of them, all races, all dressed in white and shades of grey and all with the most piercing blues eyes you've ever seen.

The one they all seemed to be following was a black man with dreads and had the warmest smile I think I've ever seen in my life to this day. The truly bizarre part of it was as a group they all seemed to have this vibrant white glow around them, on my life the first thing I thought was, "What the fuck, are these Angels!?" It was more a statement to myself than a question.

They all walked directly up to me, staring and smiling, not in an uncomfortable way, but more admiration. The one they seemed to follow, the black man, walked directly in my path, looked me square in the eyes and asked, "You're a warrior, aren't you?", without thinking I responded, "Yeah, yes I am". Their smiles all seemed to get brighter, even the glow increased, he nodded at me, said, "I know" as he put his hand on my shoulder, then they all walked away.

The whole thing lasted maybe 15 seconds, but it changed the course of my life forever. No matter what you call them, angels, aliens, interdimensional beings, EBE's, whatever, WE ARE NOT ALONE.

This was only one of many experiences I've had, but definitely the most memorable and I've wished all my life to have that moment back, to ask questions, to know just what the fuck, lol.

I swear to God my wife and I saw a vampire once.

We were at walgreens at 10pm, and noticed a very pale dude, in a long black duster, with long grey hair. He checked out in front of us, and spoke with a very odd accent.

When he left, he got into a blacked out Tahoe with U.N. plates. Plates I have yet to see again, and don't really fit rural utah.

Re: What is the most bizarre experience you've had in public?
About 15 years ago I lived shortly in an apartment complex, with 12 units in ea. Building. Was in a nice enough area, spacious, suburbs. A few nights in I get woken up by this screaming coming from the parking lot out the window. I had left it open a Crack, was in the 3rd floor. I look out the window and there is a young woman screaming and running with a baby and a man chasing her. She is screaming, somebody help me please, my baby..my baby..In like a blur I throw my shoes on and pound down 3 flights of stairs, throw the front door open and yell, HEY, GET AWAY FROM HER..Meanwhile I am this petite 30 yr. Old woman, 120 lbs soaking wet..The guy turns and starts to come after me..I run back in and there I am being chased up 3 flights of stairs by a hulking drunk lunatic..I almost died of fright..slam the door, lock it..call the cops..whilst he is slamming into my door..over and over..Cops come..Tell me the guy told them he was confused and thought my apartment was his and yea, his girl with the baby doesn't want to press charge. Moved out the very next day. Was effed up..Other time I was approaching a bridge and there was a man with a hospital gown on throwing his leg over the rail..just was about to go in when a cop car skidded in front of me and cop jumped out and leaped at him and pulled him back over..A police van had just pulled up..they put him in the back, take off..and was like nothing Happened..done. strange shit..lol

Re: What is the most bizarre experience you've had in public?
When I was at work the battery in my equipment was malfunctioning. I didn't give it much thought. I went out to my car on break and my car battery was dead.

After work I jumped my car. As soon as I pulled out of the parking lot I switched on the radio and "Art Bell: Somewhere In Time" was playing. It was an episode about the Bagdad Battery.. so the first thing they start talking about is batteries.

I am driving home but I had to take a different route because there was an accident and the highway I usually take is closed.. The GPS is running and I start thinking about maybe going to the gym instead.. All of a sudden The GPS AI says "Here's what I found" and a bunch of gym locations pop up on GPS.

I get over the hill to the gym and pass by a bank clock and it is 11:11. A cop car is stopped in the middle of the road and has the lights and sirens on and an officer has his hand outstretched telling me to stop my vehicle.

I pull to a stop 200-300meters away. His partner exits the vehicle carrying a pump action shotgun, pumps the action and fires a round into the grass in the curb. They both enter the vehicle and drive away. I go to the gym and workout.

Lived in a crap apartment complex and one night heard gunfire right in front. Crawled to the window and looked out. Did not see anything. Manager told me kid go shot for his shoes.

Saw a meteor one time a huge green ball of fire like it was from a cartoon.

Saw a guy wreck a motorcycle, we pulled up on him his leg was completely backwards.

Dated a girl and her ex died of an overdose according to her. She told me his family thought she killed him. One night we were drinking and she was telling the details of the story. She pulled down her lower lip and inside her lip was a tattoo that said MURDER.

I was nine years old my family was visiting New Orleans. Our family friends took their kids and my siblings and I to the Rocky Horror picture show.

I swear I could feel the evil. As we approached the ticket window some girl drugged up stubbled around and fell down. I had no experience with something like that and kept asking the family friends if we should help her. It only got sketcher from there.

Hello I was nine.

I stopped to pick up a Birthday card. At the door, outside, was a brawny bald guy in a wife beater t-shirt. He called my name, I had no idea who he was. Suddenly some maniac throws a brick into the window of the store next to us.

A NYPD midget cop, and I mean midget, runs at full speed into the brick thrower, bounces off of him, and lands on his ass.

I look down the block, more cops responding.

It was time to get out of Dodge, never found out who the guy who called my name was or what the other crap was about.
