I read this thread as I think about my toddler son who hasn't yet received any vaccines. He's been very healthy so far and has only been sick once. I just wonder if I should just get him the tetanus shot and no other shots.

Eh, I wouldn’t get him ANYTHING.

Tetanus shots can always be given in an emergency AFTER he steps on a rusty nail or something.

But I wouldn’t recommend giving him one BEFORE.

In this day and age, just keep him away from rusty nails while he is barefoot, and you shouldn’t have that problem.

Sadly this is not always true. I know from personal experience. (I firmly believe vac does cause and or contribute but in my case there were none)
