I am in BC, I use Telus and it works fine so I checked my online banking and everything is good because my visa is not showing up

I’m in Northern British Columbia and debit is down here, has been since early this morning, no debit cards or atm withdrawals will work. I found out around 330am this morning when I tried both

I'm in the GTA and debit is down everywhere. Cash or credit only. I went to the bank first thing this morning to withdraw some cash.... good thing I did, on my way home a few minutes ago, I noticed people were lining up outside banks to use the ATM's.

Still down here in northern Ontario. Didn't know it was down until I went shopping. They said it was Canada wide.

Debit is down everywhere I have tried today. Can't even withdraw cash at my bank. This is why we should always have some cash stashed away.

I hate to have to tell you this but politicians in Canada ABSOLUTELY do NOT take a sworn oath to the citizens of Canada, nor to the Canadian Charter Of Rights & Freedoms (constitution).

Have you tried your debit card at a point of sale system? They dont work for me in Vernon. Im on Telus too

I am on Shaw and so far so good, but point of sale debit seems to be down everywhere. Vancity and TD banks are having issues. Good thing I always have some cash stashed away.

No I am in Spences Bridge, in my 5th wheel, there’s no stores here
We have a garden and lots of supplies
May need to run to Ashcroft next week for beer, hopefully it’s all working by then

At this point...

I'm in Toronto and debit processing has been down all day. All gas stations only accept cash and credit. I have Bell service, not Rogers so my internet and cell service is working fine...for now. Not sure if this is the beginning of Cyber Polygon. If it's still down for another day then it's safe to say yes Go to the bank now and get as much cash as you can get. CASH IS KING!!!

Bring back the simpler times when the phone was plugged into the wall and still worked even if the power went down, when you carried actual cash to buy and sell and used the bank to save your money because you actually earned interest on your deposits.

All in the name of "progress".
