I don't know if we'll get much bad this far north. It just started raining big, fat ploppers as we were unloading the groceries.

I identified the cell that produced the tornado near Louisville and started an intercept but couldn't get there in time. Oh well. Maybe next time.

I've only been listening hit and miss. Needed to get groceries put up and watching my weather for later, too.

Sounds like there are semi's overturned on the highway on your storm. Too many PDS tornadoes today.

Too much to keep up with these days. Remember the "last normal week on earth?" Me neither. Lol.

Cow thing isn’t good.
Not much lag between “discovering” Cow-to-Cow and the first Cow-to-Human confirmed infection.
It ain’t just the dairy kind either.

Can’t imagine a cull on the same level as chickens.

Just a heads up.

Some folks I know in Ky raise cattle. They told me that I should stock up on beef because they are selling their calves at 2x what they normally sell for adding that it’s very unusual and something is going on.

Perhaps the fires in Texas are putting pressure on the market?

reports from MARCH 20th claim it is in goats in MINN.
so combined we are up to rumored to b 8 states

note the symptoms of all claimed to b bird flu outbreaks are not the same. they put all animal outbreaks under than term. what we have is the same thing happening in the animal kingdom that has happened in humans since 2020.

they are saying pasturization kills the virus. so far, it has not gone H2H, but drips do suggest it is spreading in mammals including the cows.

Jazz, did you see that book recommendation I made?

"The Last Centurion" by John Ringo. Written around 2005 or so. i'm re-reading it now, and it's really good. It has it all:

- H5N1 (human to human)
- famine
- Iran

Set in 2019, I think. Pretty spooky. I think you would like it.

I dug into this a bit. It's sort of misleading-ish

That is a chart from Sept of last year. We made a pile of cash selling some at like $90 a barrel then bought back at $75 a barrel. We also produce our own oil/gas now too. As far as selling and replenishment, from what I have found: sometimes the sales are mandated (i have no idea why, but they are). Right now, they have slowed replenishment because of high prices.

All the links I found about it are from Rooters and the Dept of Energy. Check it out! Pretty interesting
