Anyone near upstate NY seeing helicopters today?
There were 5 military helicopters heading SE around noon. Just saw another going SW. A lot of activity today. Wondering if anyone else has seen them.

Define "upstate."

There are people who think that Westchester County is "upstate" because it is a few miles north of Manhattan (that's actually a rich bedroom community for NYC CEOs).

Most people who truly live "upstate" think that you have to be north of Binghamton (ie, the NY/PA line extended across eastward) to really qualify as upstate.

Also north of ALbany.
West of Albany, while Upstate, is also Central and Western
