The speculation for this occurrence of oarfish being found dead before an earthquake seems very possible. It is believed that gasses are vented near the ocean trenches or floor before the quake, where these fish dwell. Lots of animals head for high ground before a quake because they can feel or hear low frequencies that precede a quake. |
