Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Anyone ever dealt with Diastasis Recti? So, I'm doing leg lifts and I notice something is amiss. My kids moved out and while I've done chest/arm workouts for years, I now have the room and time to do more. I noticed that there is a bulge in the middle of my stomach. I had a tiny hernia a decade ago and had it operated on and fixed. This is different. The bulge is about 3 inches long and goes up from just above my belly button to below my sternum. Seems like this isn't a big deal and that I might be able to repair it through exercise, but I figured I'd ask my GLP family if they've ever gone through it and if they solved it through exercise or if surgery is the way to go. It's from having weak core muscles and so your stomach muscles basically bulge, like a football, vertically. |

I have no discomfort and wouldn't have even noticed were I not exercising. Hope your prognosis is good. Wish we were neighbors, I'd come by and give you a hand. Approaching the line
