Anyone ever dealt with Diastasis Recti?
So, I'm doing leg lifts and I notice something is amiss.

My kids moved out and while I've done chest/arm workouts for years, I now have the room and time to do more.

I noticed that there is a bulge in the middle of my stomach. I had a tiny hernia a decade ago and had it operated on and fixed. This is different. The bulge is about 3 inches long and goes up from just above my belly button to below my sternum.

Seems like this isn't a big deal and that I might be able to repair it through exercise, but I figured I'd ask my GLP family if they've ever gone through it and if they solved it through exercise or if surgery is the way to go.

I just got outta the hospital last month...

Had pain in middle of gut...
Had it checked out.

Now after 30 plus staples I feel better.

Pregnant women get this, old men too.

It's from having weak core muscles and so your stomach muscles basically bulge, like a football, vertically.

Damn man. Sorry to hear.

Surely that wasn't Diastasis Recti, was it? I have no discomfort and wouldn't have even noticed were I not exercising.

Hope your prognosis is good. Wish we were neighbors, I'd come by and give you a hand.
