I thought that too..but the amount of grime, dead skin, crusty semen, and other decaying microbes that would then be infused would detract from true enjoyment of the small bit recoverable.

Presumably you pour it right, so only 50-100ml would be lost at most. Unless it's some super rare batch...what, you've lost $10-20 but learned a valuable lesson.

My reaction would be to pour another, and be thankful.
