Here is a little witchy contribution to your thread

How to make black salt.

Salt

Charcoal

Eggshells

Black Pepper

1. Clean the eggshells with soap, let them dry and crush them with a mortar. Work it until you have a fine powder. Use a strainer to filter out the larger pieces.

2. Crush the charcoal and mix it with the eggshell powder.

3. Add ashes from incense or burned herbs. I like to use sage and or rosemary. Add ground black pepper.

4. Add the salt and mix it well. Store in a small container.

Black Salt in Witchcraft:

Black salt has many uses and a long history in rituals of purification, protection and blessing.

You can pour black salt on window frames and doorways to protect the home.

When you do spell work, pour a tiny bit of black salt in each corner of the room before beginning the ritual to ward off any negative entities.

Place it on your altar to add power to your spells and meditations

Use it for cleansing or consecrating crystals, amulets, tools, ritual circles etc.

Use it as a protection agent when casting banishing spells, or any spell that uses regular or coarse salt.

Black Salt is also a key ingredient for creating a hex and binding and unbinding.
 Quoting: Green Witch

Hi Green Witch, I hope you are well. It is good to see you. Black Salt looks like a universal and efficacious potion.
I shall write all this down and ponder it. I do thank you for this. My friend has the debt collectors after her. She buys too many shoes and handbags and shes " fúcked if they are getting them ".
