most solar panels are rated to operate up to 85 dec C / 185 F.

...some even higher.

they're rated to operate at least 85 C but will work much higher.. 100+ C

the materials they are made out of are rated for 200+ C.

As per usual people getting their education from "NEWS" get it wrong.

most solar panels temperature coefficient will be about 0.45.

meaning that for every degree above their max efficient rated temp, there will be a loss of 0.45%.

for example if a solar panel is most efficient at 25 deg c, then if that panel was, double at 50 deg c, it would have lost 12% efficiency.

Do search on solar panel roof fires too. Happening everywhere. A house burnt down not far from he. They put it down to "faulty solar panel wiring" in the heat. A huge solar farm just went up in smoke too destroying tens of 1000's of panels.

Solar panels are NOT heat exchangers.

They collect and radiate heat like asphalt does.

It's the dirty little secret the solar companies doesn't like to talk about.

More solar panels means higher temperatures and because solar cells are powered by chemical reactions in the cells higher temperatures as well as lower temperatures effect the chemical reactions in the cells.

Don't believe me check the temperatures in areas with vast solar farms compared to areas with regular farm lands, the solar farm area is Hotter by far like an asphalt parking lot compared to tree filled park.

I read a sci Fi short story in the 1970s that had that sun-too-hot as a premise.

Space settlers sent to set up a colony where their solar energy panels failed because they were built for the Earth Sun. It was hard sci-fi based on tech fail.

Why doesn't missile exhaust set planes and ships on fire that launch them? It's because of duration of heat exposure. Solar panels are shielded during transport to protect them until they are deployed. Solar cells in outer space aren't the same as solar panels.

This heat wave is no different then heat waves we have had in the past. The benefits of being alive long enough. I have seen many a great wave. You can look them up though, we have had them in every decade.

The solar panels can now be 'filled' in 5 min and it's costing them millions. Therefore they are feeding you LIES!!!

The hotter the sun, the better the panels work. The only danger is that many homes are gonna overheat and explode/catch fire. Because it is working too well and the panels won't be able to keep up.

I mean once they install your panels...WHO makes money out of you charging them/using them/heating your home with them?? They are useless in the summer, they're gonna implode your house!
