He showed me pictures of the garden flowers in bloom from the 70s and there were that many butterflies it was noticeable. Lots of people have different opinions on why so many insects are dying off, I firmly believe it is radiation poisoning. If people look at cancer levels since Fukushima there is a clear correlation. I believe the background radiation we now have from all our wireless tech and nuclear industry’s waste and various accidents is higher than what they tell us. I don’t have a radiation meter (gigacounter) but I do wish more people did so the whole planet could see what levels of background radiation we are now loving with. |

ElectricDuck User ID: 82171947 ![]() 07/21/2022 07:18 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm in Montreal, and I seen 4 by the water today. Though I kinda remember them about to be extinct in the early 90's. There was a whole thing about it, people had pins, there was a door to door campaign, PSAs, etc. Then they were gone for years, but a few years ago I noticed them coming back. And there was never a lack of those black and orange catapillers, which I assume are monarchs. |

Quoting: wisconsin human ... our lawn is a haven of MILKWEED and other assorted WILD FLOWERS to host the Monarchs ... . ... we live out in the countryside so we can have an UNKEMPT lawn to host the bees and butterflies!!!! ... . But are you seeing any? I am in west Michigan and the milk weeds don’t have any monarchs , i have only seen one this whole summer, i think it is connect to the fact that UVC radiation is hitting the earth now due to the weakening magnetic field, it started about 5 years ago, I suspect they are sensitive to this radiation , it is changing the way leaves on plants look Malu |

Feathery User ID: 41363534 ![]() 07/21/2022 07:27 PM ![]() Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | As others have pointed out, it's to early for them yet, they start to come mid August through October in the South. Over all though there are far less bugs than here used to be. In urban areas it's because everybody is hiring those dam spray companies to come all summer, it kills everything but a few morning insects. I've only seen one dragonfly and one Hummingbird so far. I wish people would stop spraying that crap. Tomfoolery |

It's not 5G. It's much more pedestrian than that. It's massive contamination of the biosphere with pesticides and burning chemical pollution that don't break down. Ever. First they came for the butterflies, and I did nothing because I was not a butterfly... ![]() |

I have sweet williams there, and shasta daisies, also old fashioned bell flowers. But they like sweet. Just like the pollinating bees love dandelions, and they love catnip. Biggus Diccus User ID: 83880411 ![]() 07/21/2022 08:01 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Upstate New York here. I have a 10’x40’ milkweed patch and I have seen plenty of monarchs as well as a caterpillar that looks similar, but has neon green stripes and a slightly more tapered body- these are new to me. I’ve had the milkweed patch for 5 years and I get more butterflies every year. My yard is impressively biodiverse. I’ve spent many years making it so. |

I tried that this year with a few melons in my milkweed patch, but the melons are doing much better in a different area. I always plant some nasturtiums with my cukes and melons. I’m super into companion planting and biointensive planting. |
