Ontario Canada calls the zero number if monarch butterfly numbers an extinction level event

Kind of weird glp has no thread

Personally i blame 5g for this problem not the lack of milk weed as the news is suggesting

Personally I call Bullshit on this. I feel this is Monarch Symbolism. Not 100% sure why they are doing it now.

Feel it is not a coincidence that the last speech the Queen did there was a picture of Prince Phillip covered in Monarch butterflies and she also had a Butterfly broach on. There are no coincidences.

That's why its so important we all install feeders and keep them stocked, your feeding station with good clean food could mean life or death for many species in your area / country or the planet.

People don't realize the importance of their little back yard feeding station and the positive impact it can have against the rapid decline of creatures.

I know may hate insects in their houses but we must all capture and release from now on, never kill them.

I haven't seen a ladybug in forever either.

They appeared like clockwork in my younger days.

I don't know. does putting out a fake plastic nozzle likely full of corn-syrup based sugars help? or is it part of the problem?

Back to the bees for a moment and pollinating, so they love the white flowers on the catnip but don't love your melons, so you put those in pots and they pollinate your melons despite themselves, or perhaps to thank you.

And my father said this year he added the salvia in pots, and they like the purple flowers of the salvia as well, but they love dandelions and catnip just a shade more.

However that's he new trio of things in pots to get the melons pollinated well.

We have more swallowtails than monarchs but we've seen a few, and we don't have milkweed, they seem to like the sweet flowers. And cosmos type. And our mixed hanging baskets that have those small spills of flowers.

So a good mixed garden will attract the butterflies. We have daisies and lavender and they like basil flowers too.

Its good to hear some people are raising them, increasing their numbers.

Re: Monarch Butterflies get extinction level call out and no thread
I've seen only one so far.

A couple of years ago, I saw what must have been a million of them by the river, and a little later, about as big a crowd as that spread out along the lake shore.

I've also been wondering why I'm not finding any fish in the river, and no ducks or geese on the river.

Even in recent years, there were hundreds of ducks along the river, and big flights of geese.

I would see cranes fishing in the river.

Now, there seems to be no little fish to eat.

How did it change so fast?

I love butterflies.

This may have a dual meaning though.

If it means what I think, good.

And they love hollyhocks. And so do hummingbirds.

And we tons of foxgloves, they just keep spreading. They love that as well.

Apparently we do have milkweed but they don't go well with potatoes.

It pisses me off when I see the advertisements for companies that spray people’s backyards for mosquitoes. They don’t mention that their spray kills all the other insects, too.

Yes I agree. I feel it is a communication from the higher authorities that the MK Ultra program is either failing or being decommissioned.

Read this when it was posted on 21st and it hit me that I had not seen any type of butterfly for 2 or 3 years.

Then on the 22nd saw 4 of the yellow ones, two of the blue ones, and one monarch.

Weird, huh

Re: Monarch Butterflies get extinction level call out and no thread
I'm thinking 5G too.

I'm planting all the milkweed I can, but if technology cannot be harmonized with nature, mankind can ruin the balance and bring plagues upon himself.

We must restore Monarch numbers.

It is angering to the point to where I just can't think about it.

As a bit of good news, I have seen some Monarchs fluttering around the garden this year.

I'm hoping they will stop by for a visit this coming month as they begin to return south.
