I watch for acts that I actually like...
Watch for when they go on sale and buy from the venue box office.
Breaking Benjamin, Seether and Starset $48.50
Same tickets through eventbrite, ticket Master, ect $150+
Crowbar $28
Same show through ticket resellers $120+
Tesla $48
Same show through ticket resellers $100-$200
Chevelle $45
Same show through ticket resellers $150+
I always buy merch at the shows to support the band.
Festivals....now that is a whole other subject!
