Gonzalo is annoying but clever and entertaining at the same time. He's also great at scouring the writings of very informed people, condensing and distilling it and then presenting it as his own ideas.

If I recall right WW3 begins after the assassination and then...

1) China invades Italy and the western USA. The pope retreats to the western hemisphere. The Chinese get stopped in the western US. France destroys itself as the people burn Paris.
2) a line of yellow dust is dropped by NATO that separates east from west in Eurasia - making the entire region poison for any sort of ground troops as they die instantly if they make contact. It's believed Irlmaier foresaw some sort of crystalized mustard gas that separated Europe from Russia and China.
3) the Russians and Chinese unleash a "water weapon" that completely annihilates Britain with a mega tsunami - interesting to note we've got Russia generals talking about this only a few months ago with cobolt nukes into the English channel.
4) The war ends when a global hailstorm unleashes a global earthquake which is so severe it unleashes a black death dust from the bowels of the earth. The dust engulfs the planet in darkness for 72hours. Anyone outside dies instantly. The only way to survive is to stay inside with candels burning during the 72hours.
