Once you access a moment in spacetime away from the Now in your current spacetime flow, its existence becomes impossible, due to an effect that can be somewhat described by a generic "wave function collapse". Time travel remains a possiblity, but not the guarantee that the given reality will ever exist after the event. It works miracle for preventing certain doom scenarious from manifesting in the current spacetime flow.

This is for people who come back and need to leave messages for the future.

Multiple timelines are acceptable.
