Just about a week ago it was shown that all our understanding of Alzheimers is based on purposefully erroneous data from a single study going back two decades.

Yeah, they're baffled at how dumb they actually are. No disrespect to the doctors, but their intelligence is actually based in faith that their science isn't messed with from the start. To them if it's in a respected journal then it's intelligence, that's going to have to change.

When they publish papers and write books, they are no longer baffled about that specific bafflement...

It's only logical...I have read biographies on all the great geniuses of physics, and some autobiographies, from the late 1800's (Max Plank) to the early 1900's (Einstein) and what drove them to their discoveries was curiosity and the baffling results of the experiments done in quantum mechanics and electrodynamics, and quantum physics in general...
