The main message begins around 3 minutes.

This is not a normal depression coming from monetary economic problems. This is an almost complete breakdown of the supply chain. Based on his "Boots on the Ground" series the shift into layoffs and job closures is starting to hit.

Do everything you can to get ready. If you are broke and can only get a month of food, do that. If you can do more, do as much as you can. Anything you can do now will help with what is coming.

Dave is always the urgent prepper, but he's getting more urgent every day. Heed the warning; do not waste time or money.

I was the military for a very long time. We witnessed the worst I think mankind be in Africa and Haiti. Not Iraq or the Stan but, those.

$ day without food the mind start changing. Nine days total chaos.

It doesn't matter how many guns you have. It's not Hollywood.

All 4-5 guys have to due is kick your door or window in. Sure you maybe able to take out two with luck before your dead. Then they will root are and take all your stuff. We saw this happen many times in Africa and Haiti. Women and children beig beaten and raped in the streets. It took almost a full seven day week to get permission from the their governments to be allowed to use lethal force. I think Haiti was 5 days.

Within two weeks the rapes, killings, stealing food, and beatings ended for the most part. Word got around. Same way in Haiti.

-I just shared some truth. Believe it or not. I'm just trying to pass on some truth.

The only way to prepare for societal breakdown is to grab your store and get as far away from people as you can.

It doesn't matter how big a boy you are or how many guns you have.

What we witnessed the fourth day in Africa brought all eight of us guys to our knees cry like little baby. My Mil career ended when I was 39. I'm 55 now and still have nightmares.

I’ve been writing this same thing for MONTHS here on GLP. How do we know? Because they’re using the same exact playbook as the 1930’s. Gold confiscation is up next.

History may not repeat but it sure does rhyme.

Look up the Agricultural Adjustment Act of 1933. Did you know that they paid farmers not to farm? They dumped food into the ocean and burned food factories all while people starved.

Why? To fight deflation. Inflation is bad but deflation (a depression) is much more insidious. Once prices start to collapse it’s nearly impossible to stop.

The inflation that you see isn’t real inflation - it’s a result of their attack on the food supply and on oil production. The sanctions are having the intended result. They’re stopping pipelines, attacking companies…

They’re trying to hold prices up and they know it’s temporary. It’s all coming apart but they’re trying to buy just a bit more time to get the new system ready.

Depressions / deflations always, 10 times out of 10, 100 out of 100, always result in wars, then a new economic system. So here comes WW3 and the Great Reset. You wanted it GLP. Well here it comes.

"ferfal" was a guy with a blog in the early 2000s when Argentina went belly up. Gangs went out of the cities to the rural areas, killed the farmers and raped all the women and took everything. The worst thing was that many times they crucified people on a big dining room table. Hammered in the nails and turned the table upright.

I have to admit, despite guns and people all around me with guns, my worst fear is roving gangs.

Well, we've been hearing that for how many decades now? But if a depression would actually come finally we might see people cutting back on living like kings and living within our means. What a concept.

We've been in a recession from week 1 of the convid hoax, the most insidiously reckless and evil crime ever seen by humanity.

You don't stop the entire fucking globalized system for half an hour without creating a ripple effect that'll linger for a ridiculously long ass time ... let alone weeks, months, years ...

They staved it all off by putting on the printing presses and pouring trillions of dollars into anything and everything without any true oversight whatsoever.

They've completely decimated the middle class for centuries to come if somehow this entire global financial system were to continue as is ... But it won't. It simply can't.

Why should the old fucking scumbags leading the show even care? They'll be long dead and gone by then.

The entire system is in a state of shell-shock ... The trust and stability on which it was built have been completely sapped. Anything goes ... Literally, anything goes.

Just take a fucking look at the abject madness you see around us on a societal level, which is nothing but an expression of the horrifyingly corrupted state of the system itself.

Now they're looking for scapegoats the divert the attention away from what truly transpired and to head on out into a new paradigm they feel like forcing on the rest of us ...

Here's a good description of the future from a reddit user who probably doesn't make a living selling SHTF goods...

There will be no collapse in the sense people think of it.

It’s not going to be like the movies where one day everything collapses, prices skyrocket, and everyone begins to riot. Which in turn brings the army to the streets. There will be no “happening”. It’s far more insidious than that. Read the poem The Hollow man by TS Elliot and you will understand a deeper meaning. You’ll just notice that every day items will become a little more expensive, day by day. Everyone’s homes will get smaller, your work hours will increase will you pay will naturally decrease through inflation. You’ll see family and friends less, and find in time you care about them less and less. Everyday you’ll find yourself lowering your standards for life in everything from work, food, relationships, etc. Job security will no longer be a concept. Less people will get married and thus even less people will have kids. People will engross themselves in technological distractions and fantasty while never truly experiencing the real world. Whatever dream people use to have about what their lives were going to be, will become something from a distance past. The only thing left for people will be the reality of their debt and poverty. And every minute of everyday they will be told “ you are stupid, you are ugly, you are worthless, but together we are free, prosperous, and safe.” That is the collapse. The reduction of the American Male into a feudal serf, incapable of feeling love or hate, incapable of seeing the pitiful nature of his situation for what it is or recognizing his own self worth.

This is what collapse will be.

Bahawahaha this dude is so far over the top…he must own or invest in a company that sells survival junk as he winds up and let’s go with every cliche in the dictionary. Whatever calamity that old Dave can dream up has already been dreamed up by the tens of thousands who have spewed this same stuff over and over and over and since those calamity dates have come and gone, I suspect we will all be here ten years from now with a new Dave ranting and raving…and selling.

What I don’t get is why anyone would want to survive this alleged event, even with all the preps you could accumulate there will be insurmountable problems encountered every day. And it’s very unlikely anyone survives ELE as the first word sums it up quite eloquently…extinction.

Yeah, inflation sucks and the government spent too much and made it worse with tariffs.

But these uneducated "complete collapse" prepper dudes living in the sticks don't know anything.

The euro right now is $1. For years it was about $1.70. Does that sound ike the US is about to collapse?

These people have a fear porn agenda. Be prepared. Get food. Don't get into credit card debt....

But don't worship the god of fear porn either.

So my dude what you need to understand is that the dollar being too strong against other currencies is actually a problem too.

If the dollar gets too strong it will shit kick global trade even harder than it's already been kicked!

In normal times, this isn't a big deal.

These aren't normal times.

There's also the chuble situation too which will be shortly fucking the dollar as reserve currency too.

Homie... Trust and believe when I say that any one of these things alone is enough to fuck things.

Don't let your normalcy bias screw you over.

For those People missing meals (me included) - get a good protein powder (to supplement your nutritional needs). Sometimes even "Ensure" isn't always a bad idea. I find "raw trail mix" to be an excellent option to eat (in lieu of a real meal (about 1 cup should do it)) Stay hydrated also. Don't be concerned about fat options - Macadamia nuts are good for the system - so is raw coconut. Avacados are plentiful (where I am located) / cut in half- take seed out - and fill with Salad Dressing (Ranch, Blue Cheese is my favorite) top w/toasted Seeds (sunflower is especially tasty). The beauty of "fats" are they fill you up - and the body has less work to do (to assimilate into the system for fuel).

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72662529

I was a prepper before prepping was a thing, or at least a mainstream thing, circa early 1990's. It stemmed from my insider view of the electric grid and it's vulnerabilities. I spent years amassing beans bullets booze and everything else I could think of to carry me from present day to the grave, and a little extra for my kids to live off of. After about 15 years I finally admitted to myself the creeping feeling I knew along along, in a cognitive dissonant sort of way. Prepping is material items is FUTILE (the only worthwhile prep is turning to God). All I do now is hope for a quick and easy death that I never see coming. A nice clean head shot from sniper rifle would be ideal.

This guy is good, but still sorting out his thoughts. He is overlooking a huge part of what's coming. Once things break down, the governments collapse. They have no workers to bring them their tea, coffee, fill their jets, limos, helicopters, do their laundry, dry cleaners, no cash to loot, no banks, no maids, no servants, no aids, NOTHING. ...and they have no skills therefor no way to barter. Without US they are SCREWED/ No tow trucks, snow removal, no lawn care, NOTHING! Get it? We will all be busy rebuilding our communities. One quick example of hundreds of thousand: Most mechanics will work from home. Think he will work on Hunter Biden's car or his neighbors of whom he is bartering with? Biden will write a bad check, have fake silver, nothing to barter BECAUSE THEY HAVE NO SKILLS.

Look at the masses. The blue collar. We have no more loan payments. No more taxes, no more DMV, IRS, no more "regulations", no more freaks chasing us with vaccines, no more BS medical care. We get quality care because we can practice what we want. Sure we will experience some of what clown world experiences, but they will <hard collapse> while we will rebound almost immediately.

Clown world wont be out looking for tires for a tractor, they will be busy hiding underground.

I welcome the collapse. Just hope its not in winter for the sake of the elderly. BRING IT

So dinner tonight is a home made cheese pizza. I have some food storage and I've been dipping into that. I might as well. This is one of the reasons I put food by.

Too soon to dip into your reserves yet.

The time for that is when you go to the store and ALL the shelves are empty and you go home almost completely empty handed.

THEN you are glad you've got loads of food and can still eat 3 squares.
 Quoting: DNoMo Michele B

Maybe not dip into the reserves, but on the other hand, you must rotate your supplies. Check the dates on stuff you have put away, and make sure you are not saving a pile of things that may have gone bad.

IRA confiscation is Probably next.
 Quoting: Pilgrim001

An IRA / 401 is nothing more than meaningless 1's and 0's on a server somewhere, that can be gone in the blink of an eye. No so called "confiscation" needed.

I like Dave, he’s a smart and honest man. But he worried me the other day when he went to the state park by his house and suggested homeless come live in it. Clearly he doesn’t know what he’s asking for. I think being in the boondocks has made him a bit naive.

We are seeing a repeat of 1973 stagflation.

on the surface.

the 1970s shortages were partly due to the enormous
boom which was just entering family formation,
workforce, etc.
