I make choices all the time.

It's always boils down to a very simple thing:

"Are you going with me? I'm going now!"

It all depends on how people react.

They aren't going into any future with me and anyone could see it as plain as day.

They have their own things. So they go on into their futures. I never have any interest in where they're going, and they usually don't seem very enthusiastic about where they're going, so I don't know why they even bother.

I don't mean I literally say that to most people because it is already plain enough to me that they wouldn't be going with me.

But every choice and decision is of that variety.

When I asked a girl to go for a walk with me, or told her I loved her, it was an invitation to go with me, which was always refused.

Who knows where those people are now, or even if they are still alive?

Their desire was to make it none of my business.

My general impression of the world is that none of it ever goes my way, so my way is just a long solitary walk through your world.

Choices became harder to make as I got older because the choices I was inclined to make were against the law.

I mean, the women I began to meet when I was in college were absolutely determined to go their own ways in all things. Too often those ways were drunken, deceptive, idiotic, and hostile and immoral. I couldn't move them a step to the left or right of where they were going, and many of them seemed to expect me to follow them. I told them that wasn't proper female thinking. A woman follows a man or she remains alone.

Girls showed a more correct female attitude, more of an inclination to follow, and they did not attempt sexually immoral behavior. They weren't so thoroughly locked in to their destinies. They were better morally and spiritually prepared for marriage, and more inclined to follow a man, but the world would not have allowed me to marry them, so I had to leave them to find their own ways in the world, and I could no longer make choices about marriage. Women weren't even able to follow a conversation anymore. And they wouldn't follow across the street for a cup of coffee. Even when they seemed miserable and lonely, they were fixated on their grim futures and unable to respond or follow, or budge an inch from their sorry paths.

People mostly won't even take a break from whatever they are doing, and I end up having to act the same.

The world looks worse all the time, and crazy assed dictators start messing with me too much, putting masks on people, and working all their lies and crap on the world.

When people don't want to follow, that's their choice, but when people start getting in my way...
