It’s true. There is a list of supposed “fires and other damage” at food processing plants that is being passed around as evidence the government is causing the food shortages.

The problem is that people just post the list and don’t do any research into the contents of the lists. Many of these fires and other supposed attacks on food processors aren’t even major suppliers of food. One was a butcher shop that burned down. Another was a Hot Pocket facility. Others didn’t even close after the damage occurred.

The disinformation is real. I’ve seen the list posted here as well.
