An apparent road-rage incident on the Staten Island Expressway involving an express bus left riders rattled after a man stopped and exited his car, then busted the windows of the MTA vehicle packed with commuters.

Video of the shocking encounter was posted to social media.

The incident occurred around 6:20 p.m. on Thursday, according to an eyewitness aboard the SIM23, when the bus crossed over the Goethals Bridge into Staten Island.

The witness, a woman from Prince’s Bay who asked to have her name withheld from publication, told the Advance/SILive.com, that the incident unfolded rather quickly before anyone could understand what was happening.

She said the encounter began when the car tried to get in front of the bus.
