JFK was telling the press to be more secretive, not less.
OK.

Here is the transcript -

[link to www.jfklibrary.org (secure)]

For nuance and context, here is a video that took me a while to find. Albeit stills with an enhanced transcript - laughter, clapping, whistling. etc -

[link to www.bitchute.com (secure)]

that show how out of context this JFK speech to the press is presented by apologists, conspiracy theorists and truthers.

My question; Why is it always misrepresented?

TL:DR / synopsis

JFK was telling the press to be more secretive, not the opposite - which is the usual message put out -

"The very word "secrecy" is repugnant in a free and open society; .."

The fact that the speech went on to present the Cold War as 'covert, undeclared warfare', targeting the USSR at that time, yet transposing to our struggle against the CCP currently, is interesting to me.

Edited to add timestamp:

6:26

for the pertinent section of what is a prime example of this man's oratory skills. He was a master of mendacious manipulation.

What are you talking about. He is talking about the Press blabbing our secrets that our enemies should not know. Although this was well after this speak, Geraldo Rivera drew in the sand on TV where our troops were, gave it to the enemy. That's what he is saying. Giving out info that hurts our security. YOU DID NOT COMPREHEND THE ARTICLE.

I never said, or thought, what you claim.

I know he said 'shut yo mouf'.

My POINT is - we never get the full quote.

We ALWAYS get the snippet about secrecy being anathema.

YOU DO NOT COMPREHEND MY POSITION.

That's why I provided the transcript.

To show that the narrative always deviates from the actuality.

Nearly every recent (within the last two decades at least) reference is out of context.

I'll give it to you. This lightly changes the context of how I understood this speech. But he's still not claiming it the way you are. It's so interesting being taught the truth of this speech while at the same time, you, who brought this to my attention, also do not understand it.

Everything about secret societies and globalist he was referring to Communists Cold War not our own government and he was saying we should model them and the press should self sensor as we are at covert war and free speech during war time is not a right.

The Kennedys both faked their death? For Robert it would have been easy but, if it pans out, this takes the cinemagical biscuit. I will need to watch a bit more when I have time.

Sorta adds into the wild theory that Trump honored JFK, in person, at a rally sometime in the last couple of years.
