Graphine by itself can’t light a bulb but wet graphine can. Graphine oxide by itself can only generate DC, the lightbulb is AC. Also, I don’t see where he has both sides of the circuit, unless he is the ground?

What I think is going on here is the graphine grid is acting like an antenna and picking up the 60Hz waves from the house current. The water helps conduct the AC to the lightbulb. The lightbulb is only 7W and doesn’t need a lot of power.

I've played it several times, and I can't see his fingers or thumb touching the contracts around the bulb. Even so, the electrical charge would have to go through his body; otherwise how is the charge going through the two contact points? One hand touches the pad, the other the bulb.

However, after watching some youtubes, it is possible that it could be a trick bulb, however even with those contact has to be made with both poles, he doesn't seem to hide the bulb at all, he lets it roll around the pad (IE trying to hide the metal contact), and especially during the first time he picks up the bulb you can see fingers/thumb do not seem to touch the contact round the bulb.
