Lots of military aircraft over CONUS for this time of night. Probably half are trainers.

Lots of military training going on. Ben watching them on ADSB and military voice freqs.

Not only do you need to watch ADSB, but also military frequencies in the 250 - 400 mhz range. Get a good scanner.

Whistler makes good ones that allow you to select military frequencies.

to be seen, an aircraft uses a transponder, which pings a signal which relates to your aircraft in flight... data such as speed, altitude, lat/long etc are then used to track said aircraft

if an aircraft wishes to be not tracked the transponder remains off
