How does someone get three passports? I may be ignorant but I thought you could only get a passport from your own country and if you have one, you couldn't get more. Can someone please explain?

One regular US citizen passport. One expired regular US citizen passport. One diplomatic passport that all Presidents get.

If you weren't aware...you can buy citizenship in many countries by depositing certain sums of money in their banks or investing in business.

Did you use any search engine to first see how someone can have more than 1 passport?

First, the US allows citizens to have more than one (look it up, am sure you have the mental aptitude to check this one out).

Second, you could have more than one citizenship.

Three, and as is the case with Trump, one was expired, one was regular and one was a diplomatic passport (which government officials get - sometimes they get an "official" passport instead of a diplomatic, and some people use both terms interchangeably even though they are the same). Nothing unusual, and even the FBI eventually explained the different passports here.

As for offering or accepting, I doubt he’s turned down much of anything that’s been offered to him.
