Baldwin broke multiple established protocols that actors MUST follow when using a firearm on set. These include NEVER point it at another human, treat every gun as if it is real and loaded, check the firearm yourself every time.

What was he supposed to do, test all the blanks, in which case there would be no more blanks to use. In the Matrix you can clearly see Smith shooting Neo with a blank as the full cartridge is ejected. Baldwin is not guilty here. Whomever gave him the gun is.
Sorry haters, but common sense says "if the glove dont fit"... As much as I hate Baldwin, you may be right, but he was probably set up because he deserved it...likely as payback for his terrible played out unfunny Trump impersonations and constant insults to Trump.
