My worthless opinion:
Nothing happens to baldwin.

He played their game.
He proved himself worthy of them.
He even made the blood sacrifice at a broken down black church and almost made a "two-fer"...

Had the director not been shot by accident (wasn't supposed to be there) we wouldn't even be hearing about this. Either the victim would've been "disappeared" or they would've chocked it all up to a tragic accident, paid off whoever and we would be watching the "RUST" film right now. Damned that stupid director....

So yeah, he walks.
