Why would a man that's traveling on a bus on a limited income buy these things? I could see if it was 'grandpa's watch' or similar, but ... Wrangler? Does Wrangler even make necklaces and bracelets? On a bus trip? These things are heavy and take up space. Why not a bar of laundry soap, like Zote, so you can wash in a sink in a rest stop if you need to? Packing four towels on a bus / bike trip? Four??? This is why I think this has to be a coded message of some kind. People saving space and weight would, for instance, use a large flannel shirt as a towel. If you need to fly, you can throw it on so your bag isn't overweight. Who the heck uses both of these? When you're needing to be the type of person throwing back shots of 5 Hour Energy, you tend to be able to sleep when standing up when you get the chance. Do you use either of these now? As you go along, right? |

If you're going to be on a bus in close quarters, I'd strongly consider using something to prevent catching things from your seatmates. I'd skip the 'body spray' and use a combination of DEET spray and some geranium-oil based natural repellent. Against head lice, Some experts believe prophylactic treatment is prudent for persons who share the same bed with actively-infested individuals. It's also a 2 to 3 day trip. Amtrak is $250, similar 2 to 3 days, and is two trains and a bus. Right now there's a $172 flight with two connections /14 hours with layovers on United, and several one connection / 6 hour trips for $310. The bike would be $150 or under depending on the airline and how you pack it.
