Re: The 737 in Queensland rainforest
This report states:

It is likely that the passenger jet, which appears to be an Airbus A320 or Boeing 737, was flying at a very low altitude, giving off an impression that it is on the ground.

However other reports state this altitude is improbable - and not on any regular flightpath.

Shitty article. These are two different aircraft. The 737 is a plane in flight. The other is an older prop aircraft which appears to be abandoned in the forest.

The images I am looking at in different articles are the same plane - however one does appear "higher" almost as though it is flying at low altitude and other images have the plane appear parked below the canopy.

One of the reasons it would be interesting to know is that if you take the UTM East (and North - but adjust) in zone 11 where Anne Heche crashed

east = 365949.2866462 to zone 55 south of the equator - it is the matching longitude indicated here -

the new coordinates have the potential to give, for example a NY address - for example -17.4012 could be -74.012 (just an example) and the longitude 145.732 in Queensland etc - you would use as the UTM north to give the NY latitude at 40.7--- etc.

And this story is about a ghost plane - so it is interesting.
