I bought a 44 inch by 50 yard roll about 5 years ago. I've used it to shield the walls facing the direction of strong RF emitting sources. But I've never shielded an entire room. Those metal screens we put on the windows to prevent mosquitoes from entering, or even those chicken coop screens (the hexagonal ones), work reasonably well as a faraday box, if you plug a wire of copper into them and ground with a metal bar (copper preferrably). Take a test, here on my farm I can't use cell phone in the chicken coop, neither 4g nor wifi, the signal disappears the moment I walk through the door. All my fences are grounded. I'm speaking from personal experience, I could be wrong. |
