They simply thought there would be an obstruction to regain the documents so they went in heavy-handed to get these documents. But the probable cause why they thought there would be an obstruction in the first place is all blacked out.

Effectively they blacked out WHY.

But they claimed they perceived obstruction would occur, which is conjecture and allowed for this " operation ".

I don't see how this looks good for the DOJ or FBI.

Affidavit states the National Archives reported to FBI back in February. They wanted him to FedEx sensitive documents? This is ridiculous. How sensitive are they if they want them via Fedex?? And the raid happened in August. Nobody seems to have much of a sense of urgency if this was so important.

Sorry, but my experience has been that anything with a "countdown" turns out to be pure theatrics.

Furthermore, the goal of the Mara Lago search was to solidify Trump as the front runner of the Republicans, NOT to remove him from the race.

The democrats would prefer to run against Trump, because then they don't need to run on the issues. With Trump as the front runner, the dems could advocate for nuclear annihilation and they'd go for it, so long as it was anti-Trump. They don't need a platform, they can simply run on "Orange Man Bad" and ignore the failed economy, the failed global security and the complete failure to uphold the Constitution.

Trump knows this. He's got a lot of backers jumping ship and he needs them to come back onboard. This worked wonders for his standing.
