Hmm, I don't understand how on the 17th he said the next day the stocks would be up greatly. (which they were) Then on the 18th he said they would be -200. That don't make any since.

For those who don't know:

An event that occurs when the contracts for stock index futures, stock index options and stock options all expire on the same day. Triple witching days happen four times a year on the third Friday of March, June, September and December.

This phenomenon is sometimes referred to as "freaky Friday".

Investopedia Says... The final trading hour for that Friday is the hour known as triple witching. The markets are quite volatile in this final hour, as traders quickly offset their option/futures orders before the closing bell. If you are a long-term investor, triple witching will have a minimal impact on you.

Yup ! They'll put you all the way up to $6 an hour. Maybe $6.25 AD.

The Street is net short. To unwind, they need to buy to cover shorts. But then they will just need to lay in to open up their unwound positions. Traders need to trade, 'tis their mandate.

The long term trend is down. The Fed has been cutting interest rates like crazy. Everytime you got spectacular one day rallies that fizzle. You might want to say the Fed has kept the market from a total melt down so far. Eventually the Dow breaks 1150.

If it's like the 74-75 bear, the Dow loses 50% and goes to 7000 - the 2003 bottom. If it's like 1929-1933, the Dow will go to 1400.

Ok, ok, my +200 prediction in that other thread wasn't too close to the +420 that happened in reality, I am sorry for that.

I think people have overlooked the 'at least' part.

I do think whomever you are "serious doom" (strange name) the market will decline today. Without looking at the cnn money predictions of a "rebound" the Asian markets are seriously down. Now I know we don't follow the Asian markets to the T, but we've been too green this week to let the worlds manufacturers be the only ones in the red.

Today will be bad. It should be. There is no reason to be green.

I agree, there's no reason for the markets to be green today, and the fed cant exactly cut interest rates again.

Whether it's this new age hocus pocus or aging, I can tell the media is false a mile away. I tried to tell you all last night about today, but I'm banned at home. I might, might bypass the ban, but I'll post from work for the time being. I was hoping there would be a statute of limitations for being banned. I'm not really that scarry.

Anyhow, CNN money is a joke. Within 5 minutes they changed from a positive open to being in the red.

Pretty soon the feds will run out of money to boost the stocks markets back up and the news reporters will run out of bs.

I'm afraid not. The feds have an unlimited amount of "money" and the media definitely have an unlimited supply of BS.
