Sometimes it is hard to prove a slander case when it is uttered as a form of a personal opinion than a fact. His other job is performing drag and accepting tips which is against my company's policy on having other jobs. Nowhere in my accusations I even said anything about his race, sex, or sexual orientation. Upper management confronted another employee about my accusations and told them that he couldn't believe there were still homophobia still in the workplace. Not once did I say anything about his sexual orientation! I've been with this place for a long time but I can't stand the fact of what he told the other employee. Have you told them you have spoken with your lawyer and you are planning to sue them, Karen? |
