Re: Slander at Work Advice Needed
There are indications that OP may be out of a job as early as this next Monday.

It is likely that someone will make up an excuse for why they should be no longer be in the employ of the company, possibly as a backbiter or troublemaker. Your own performance in the company may now be suspect. If your boss is having problems, those are their problems, not yours. Instead focus on your own advancement

Regarding the rules of company policy, those guidelines are only for the individual employee, such as yourself, and are not there to allow you to function as a brown-noser within the company, as this would lead to resentment.

May I suggest that you accept some advice from the sage, Pimp Sliky Smooth

So this.

Hey OP, I see you walking down the street, you smile and say hello. Thanks, you made my day. Here's $10. You accept it, oh, that's a tip. You should be fired from your job.

OP complains about manager accepting tips, not a salaried or hourly paying job, just accepting tips outside the work place. During non-working hours. OP stalked Facebook to find this info. Hmm, sounds like OP is creating a hostile workplace environment. We better let the trouble making OP go. Fired with cause: creating a hostile work place.

Go ahead and sue OP. Waste everyone's time and bunch of your own money because you think you've been slandered somehow. Good luck with that. MYOB!!!

Reminds me of a story I heard about Big Blue from a former supervisor there.

There was a guy in another department for some reason his management didn't like. They accused him of watching porn at work, and if memory serves, even planted it.

He sued them for wrongful termination, and won. Why?

They had planted hetero porn on the guy's computer, and (unbeknownst to them) he was gay.

That was my first thought.

i don't know if you pray, but now would be a good time to start.

You've done tweaked the belly of the beast, and its ire is gonna be targeted at you.

I think drag and the entire gender thing is ridiculous. But that said, do your job, STFU and don't be a snitch. You gonna report someone at work if they punch out a few minutes early too?

OP, it sounds like you are a bit homophobic. Not that it is a bad thing, but it is something you have to keep to yourself especially at work when you have a cross dressing boss.

You say it is interfering with his job? If you are correct, just be patient. Eventually someone besides you will catch on. Just keep your mouth shut and act like he is your BFF. You may want to protect your rear as well.

Tell them you expect satisfaction or you'll have your lawyer file a complaint with the state employment office.

What exactly do I have to go by? His comment about the homophobia has got me pissed beyond pissed. I never said anything about his sexual orientation. And hr wanted me to know about the policy on anti discrimination and harassment? Like really.

Ever watch the show MASH?

Go to work in a dress and start DEMANDING privileges. THEN QUIT after you have found a better opportunity or maybe just stay there and act petulant.

Really, though, you are unappreciated. Take your talent elsewhere or work for yourself. At least, make your escape plans.
