When did it become taboo for normies to question things?

I find the opposite, more and more "normies" are becoming receptive or actively interested in questioning things.

Growing up in the 90's it was common knowledge that:

-Hollywood were scum bags and prostitutes
-Lawyers were pieces of shit
-Politicians lie all the time
-banks were predatory

I was there....EVERYONE KNEW THESE THINGS...now EVERYONE SEEMS TO HAVE FORGOTTEN...why?

When the leftists all got tricked into blindly following the Apparatus...the very same people that used to chant in circles and meditate for peace.

It only exists in the fake reality portrayed on MSM and social media. Ignore both and question whatever you want?

It’s always been. The questioner has always made things awkward with their pesky distrusting ways. To question is to annoy. But why? I was in my 20's in the 90's and I can attest that most of us didn't even know what we didn't know yet.
