Man's "friends" bet him he can't swim across the lake
He jumps in at 12:30, starts drowning 30 seconds later.

Absolutely

But it's easier said than done for a non-swimmer.

I actually saved myself doing this. I was very young, maybe five. I was told not to go near the pool. We were visiting my parents friends. I was left alone long enough to fall in. I sunk at first obviously. When I popped back up I was further away from the edge, so I flipped over on my back, held my breath, and kicked my feet until rescued. It all took maybe 20 seconds. But somehow I knew to float on my back.

Edited to clarify, I know I would have been saved regardless, but in my mind at the moment it seemed like I saved myself.

That is sad. I don't understand why he did this if he couldn't swim.

That woman yelling, "kick your feet", should have been yelling "cup your hands". Anyone can doggy paddle.

Teach your babies to swim.

What makes sense? It's enough to look at girls terrorized face to know how she feels.
That stress is going to damage her for life.
I'd drown the cunt mother.

How about you fight AGAINST CIRCUMCISION and other trauma instead of fighting for a baby that CAN NOW SAVE ITS LIFE NOW. Maybe it was scary but now the baby will NEVER drown.

That makes sense to me. And it's a win.

Let me correct they headline, “Black Man Dies from Racism”. Many people aren’t aware of the history of slave masters preventing their slaves from learning how to swim. If they could swim they could more easily escape. So, they didn’t allow it. Unfortunately this institutional racism continues to this very day.

There's a man in a white house with blood on his mouth!
If there's Knaves in the North, there are braves in the South.
We are three thousand horses, and not one afraid;
We are three thousand sabres and not a dull blade.

It's a river, not a lake, with a channel cut in the middle to accommodate big boats.

Everyone should be taught how to swim. Also teach your children not to attempt to save a conscious drowning person on their own - otherwise they put themselves at risk to be drowned.

It's amazing how 24-7 we have stupid stuff like LGBTQ shoved down our throats but not basic life saving skills like swimming, hygiene, nutrition, etc.

Black folks have had almost two centuries now since SLAVERY to learn to swim.
Free lessons are offered everywhere.

They could become expert swimmers to spite YT, right?
