[very FEW have air condition there!) Dude you are high. I don't know anyone in Idaho without a AC. Do you realize how much our temp flucuates? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 7887451 Well, glad to hear it and good for you! I just landed on the stupid Wa====Po===> and it named those states as having no standard a/c. Maybe you're rich and unaware that everyone in an apt. doesn't have it? Everyone in California has a/c! (Except the tards in a few snobbish cities, yeah they're getting what they deserve!) Who the fuck don't have air conditioning are you retarded everyone's got an air conditioner hello Quoting: Anonymous Coward 84099473 See my reply to #1. Glad to hear it and sorry for my obnoxious title & OP: when I play nice, everyone ignores my threads. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 7887451 This is from the article. I'm sure if you paste it on Google, you'll find it. (That URL is not accepted here). Less than 10%: In Boise, Idaho, where the temperature topped 97 for a stretch of 14 out of 15 days this month, Sarah O’Keefe refuses to give in. With the mercury repeatedly soaring into triple digits, she started waking up hours earlier, added afternoon siestas to her routine and installed a sprinkler to cool her hot metal roof. The AC stays off. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 82618855 3 digits heat everywhere there, and tightwads refuse to turn on the a/c. Other tightwads refuse to install it. 's! I don't have AC yet in my house I bought last year, still fixing it up but will have AC by next summer, as to roasting no I am not, my house stays OK even today at 102 degrees, I have 2 windows open and 3 fans running, stays good till around 4 pm than gets a little warm but cools down fast after sunset. We are not as hot as southern California or Vegas or Phoenix and our nighttime temps get as low as 62 degrees.. Outside of Boise away from all that concrete it's not as hot and one can survive without AC, our nighttime temps drop fast. My goal is a Mr Cool mini split AC/heatpump OPer is a >> |

At the ranch, the low temp was 90F. Hi temps on either end were 107F and 109F today. Woof!! When you are afraid of losing your life, you have already lost your life. Don't be afraid. |

[very FEW have air condition there!) I grew up in Montana, and we're talking 40+ years ago. We had AC back then. It's extremely hot in the summer there, and extremely cold in the winter. There's also electricity there. Why wouldn't people have AC unless they choose not to have it? |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78363501 If your house has good shade, good insulation and you have windows open and some fans circulating the air you can go without AC, if it's not much above 100 degrees. People like AC cause it's easier to cool a house and keeps out the humidity. My current house just had a old swamp cooler that leaked so I removed it and have no AC or swamp cooler now and at 102 degrees today my house stayed ok, but going to install a mini split ac/heat pump next spring ready for the next summer. |

Quoting: IdahoMac This is NOT "100 years ago", read'em and weep!!!! Telling it to you like it is: Bay Area never had AC. You could really use it maybe two weeks a year.
