It's not a year of celebrating, but of prepping for the coming winter.

It's quiet out there. Too quiet.

Things are on the prowl. Anger and exasperation seethe under the surface.

It may be best just to have a quiet family activity during this time.

A good time to simply reflect and be thankful for those many little blessings we have.

There is an autumn chill in the air: not one that refreshes, but one that forebodes of winter.
